Introducing WSP 2

Wellstorm's WITSML Service Platform (WSP): Solutions for Drilling Data

WSP is server software you use as
  • A drilling data hub that connects to WITS, SCADA, and WITSML sources, and supports file upload of LAS files and other legacy formats
  • An enterprise repository for long term structured storage of your company's well data
  • A processing system for drilling data
Wellstorm connects well services, drilling contractors, partners, and operators

Drilling Data Hub

You configure WSP to communicate with service companies' servers. WSP can receive real time WITS and WITSML feeds, and can bridge to SCADA systems. Where necessary, WSP can poll the remote servers for updates. You can upload LAS memory files or legacy log data too. You develop a growing repository of live and historical well data.

Since WSP is also a WITSML server, you connect your WITSML enabled tools from major software vendors to WSP. You can retrieve any data in WSP using only a web browser.

Enterprise Repository

Few systems have been designed to store years of high resolution downhole data. WSP is your system of record for this data, and WSP relates that data to all the other information about the wellbore, well, and field.

Processing System

WSP Apps give you the power to create engineering workflows for your organization. Here are a few ways you can use WSP apps:
  • Calculate drilling optimization parameters in real time, to drill safely and effectively
  • Monitor drilling measurements to avoid trouble conditions
  • Manage and measure contractors' drilling performance
  • Enforce data quality
