Seasoned E&P Software ProfessionalsHugh Winkler, Founder and CTO Hugh Winkler brings 20 years of architecture and management experience building E&P software and companies. At a small start-up he co-authored the SeisVision interpretation system and sold it to Landmark/Geographix, where that product now anchors their geophysical offerings. He has built commercial seismic processing systems, seismic acquisition systems, and consulted to Landmark, Schlumberger, and several seismic acquisition companies. He began his professional career as a wireline well logging engineer. Winkler's recent experience as architect at an Austin business to business software venture led him to attack the problems of exchanging well data using XML. He founded Wellstorm to bring that knowledge to bear on the data exchange opportunities in the E&P industry. Winkler graduated with a B.A. in Applied Physics from Georgia Tech, and received his M.A. in Geophysics from the University of Texas at Austin. |
